For AI prompts

Give your AI the context you meant to include.

A useful AI prompt includes the context you might otherwise leave out. Speak your goal, background and constraints for a chat or coding assistant, then inspect the text before it becomes a request.

A practical four-part prompt

Use voice to explain the problem in the order another person would need to understand it. The aim is a clear request, not a magic phrase.

  • Goal: what you want the AI to help produce or decide.
  • Context: the audience, current state and relevant facts.
  • Constraints: what must stay unchanged and what to avoid.
  • Result: the format, length or evidence you want back.

Try an editing request

Example: “Help me edit this product announcement for existing customers. Keep the release date and all prices unchanged. Remove repetition, use plain English and keep it under 180 words. First show the revised draft, then list any claim that needs evidence.”

Dictate into a compatible prompt field, paste the source material separately and check the combined request. You decide when to submit it.

Explain a code change to Cursor or Codex

Use voice for the behavior you want to change and the boundaries of the task. For example: “The settings menu stays open when I click outside it. Find the relevant handler and propose the smallest fix. Keep the shortcut behavior unchanged. Explain which files you would change before editing.”

Dictate in a compatible chat field, not a terminal or source-code editor where an unintended insertion could change code. Paste file paths, error messages and identifiers separately. Check permissions in the destination coding tool before you submit; voice input itself does not authorize edits or execute commands.

Choose where the answer happens

You can dictate into another AI product’s input field or use Whispek’s own assistant. These are separate workflows. Dictation does not mean Whispek executes code, modifies files or grants permission for the destination tool to act.

Draft a prompt for ChatGPT or Claude

Open a conversation and focus its message field. Use the voice shortcut shown in Whispek, speak a manageable passage, then stop and review it. Add any reference text separately so that the request and source material are easy to distinguish.

If the app or browser does not accept automatic insertion, copy the available text and paste it into the prompt. These steps use ordinary text fields; they do not require an official integration with ChatGPT or Claude.

  • Name the task and who the result is for.
  • Explain the relevant facts and what must stay unchanged.
  • Ask for the output format or level of detail you need.
  • Read the complete prompt, attach only the needed material and submit it yourself.

GOOD QUESTIONS

A few things worth knowing.

Visit the help center
Can I use this with another AI app?

Yes, when its prompt field accepts normal text insertion. Compatibility depends on the field and app. You can copy and paste the result if automatic insertion does not work.

Can Whispek write code by voice?

You can dictate instructions or explanations for a coding tool. Exact code syntax and identifiers need review; Whispek voice input itself is not a code execution tool.

Does Whispek send a prompt automatically or connect my AI accounts?

No. You choose the destination and submit the reviewed text. These are text-field workflows for chat and coding tools, not account integrations or a guarantee that every app version accepts automatic insertion.
