Changelog

Small improvements. A clearer everyday app.

Published changes to the Whispek desktop app. Download pages show the current installer and platform availability.

0.1.11 · October 4, 2026

This release adds English and Simplified Chinese desktop interfaces and language selection that follows your preferences.

  • Choose English, Simplified Chinese or Automatic on the sign-in screen or in Settings → General → Display language.
  • Your saved manual choice takes priority. Automatic selects the first supported language in your system language list and falls back to English.
  • Change the display language without changing speech recognition preferences.
  • Keep the website and desktop language preferences separate.

0.1.10 · October 4, 2026

This release focuses on desktop consistency and everyday interaction. It includes changes to typography, history rows, statistics and menu dismissal.

  • Restored the established Noto Sans SC interface font and JetBrains Mono code font.
  • Aligned history timestamps with body text and placed each date beside its first record.
  • Kept the statistics in one row, with compact K/M values and time units.
  • Made settings selection consistent with the rest of the sidebar.
  • Improved outside-click dismissal for affected menus and dialogs.
  • Reduced history-count flicker and recovered deferred refreshes and failed event subscriptions.
