When Wispr Flow is worth the price
Wispr Pro, Growth, or Enterprise is worth paying for when:
- You dictate on both your phone and your desktop every day.
- Notetaker replaces a separate meeting-notes tool.
- Your security review needs SOC 2 Type II, ISO 27001, or a HIPAA BAA, plus SSO or MDM.
- Your team wants one vendor for dictation everywhere and meeting capture.
At $144 a year, Pro fits if you use its mobile apps, Notetaker or team features.
When to try Whispek first

Do you need Wispr Pro to code by voice?
Not for its coding features. Wispr Flow's help center says its vibe coding features, file tagging and variable recognition, are available on all plans on Mac and Windows. Paid plans change usage limits and team features.
Whispek is not a plugin for Cursor, Claude Code or Codex, and it does not tag files, read your repository or run commands. Press your Voice input shortcut (Right Alt on Windows, Right Option on macOS, Left Ctrl + Left Alt + Space on Linux), say the goal, the context, what must not change and how to check the result, then paste or insert the text into the input box and send it yourself. Turn on Settings > Voice & translation > Live transcription display to see the transcript above the capsule while you talk. Run Create an AI prompt in Transforms to tighten a rambling request, add repository and library names to Dictionary, and keep standing instructions as Snippets. For Claude Code or Codex in a terminal, dictate into a notes field or chat box, review, then paste into the prompt.
If you mostly dictate prompts, Whispek is free every 7 days. Hold Right Alt in Cursor or Claude Code, describe the bug, the files and what not to touch. You'll give your agent way more context than you'd ever type.
